Street Video Killed the Radio Star

I just blew my rear tire going to work. It was fun, unfortunatly it is not a valid excuse to miss work today, I am sleepy and my knees hurt from falling (I was going kind of fast when the tire ate itself)

Coke just bought the company that makes Vitamin water. This is a problem since Vitamin water is one of the few packaged drinks that make me happy (I can drink them without staring at the label with a dictionary), I refuse to buy coke products so I guess no more vitamin water. Also I have this horrible feeling that coke is going to add white mans poison (corn based sweeteners and chemicals) once again making this something I won't drink. I wonder if we can get Whole Foods to stop carrying it because of its relationship with Coke?
SO I guess we should all stop buying this stuff. Yep and down with coke!

So um I am having a bit of a conflict with my family members that live here in providence and I could use a little help.
I loaned my cousin a mini-fridge when she went away to school and now I need to get it back, why it can get to providence from DC but not from DC to virginia is beyond me.
Anyway so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in giving me a ride to east providence monday night, I will buy snacks and you might get to see me explain why they are not welcome at the picnic this summer.

Anyway, I would really love a ride and you wouldn't need to carry anything.

Would any one or group be interested in spliting a case of 20oz heat treated English Pub Glasses.



They come in cases of 36 (I only want 6) and each case is about 90 bucks so roughly 2.50 each.
I don't know what I would do with the other 30 glasses but really let me know and I will be happy to work the process out, even if you are only interested in 1 or 2, if enough people are interested I will do this.

anyone with a car feel like going to whole foods tonight, I don't feel like trying to carry five pounds of carrots back on my bike.

SO tomorrow there is a back yard sale at Julian's and I am going in search of fun things - posters, old toys, I don't know. Anyway I wanted to invite people to come join me for an early breakfast (930) and the finding of neat stuff.

So I have realize that everything I learned in kindergarden (and art skool) is totally helpful as "office support personnel," yes I am plural at my job.

In the past few days I have been stuffing envelopes, using a stamp, alphabetizing, and putting on stickers. Its kind of fun and crazy, leaves my brain with plenty of time to come up with random ideas.

So yeah work is good, and they want me to stick around for a while and I think they really like my work everyone has been commenting on my craftsmanship, wonderful stuff but really I am surprised by the amount of time I have spent not really paying attention to what I am up too while still doing an impressive job apparently(although sitting in one place all day kind of drives me up the wall.)

It is raining as I am sure many of you know. I am at work and picking pieces of providence street out of my nose hair and eyes, a truck decided i needed a bath and tossed most of a puddle on me as I was riding down the aptly named River Ave.
and then the nice old ladies at work told me I was going to catch a cold, no hugs or soup though which is too bad, they remind me of my granny.

Hey, I really can't find my copy of Jesus christ vampire hunter, and I was wondering if I loaned it to someone, cause I need it for something, but I can't remember and I can't find it at all. So if I did loan it to you could you let me know before I buy a new copy, it is one of my favorite films.

So I know we were talking about this last week at nervousmotion and I was going on and on about the UK Adult Version.
And then I went on to talk about wanting a UK Version of book 7, and I got some really good recommendations.

Well for anyone who is interested I pre-ordered it here. Shipping costs about as much as the book so I think the whole thing is around 17 or 18 pounds which since book six cost me close to $60 bucks in moscow i don't feel that bad about it.
Anyway I just wanted to share this info incase anyone else was interested in picking up the UK versions.

SO! I got my first big assignment today, I start on monday. I am going to be an assistant office assistant. I guess I am running support for the office assistant, so I will be doing a lot of things involving creating excel based mailings and other activities. I get to do some desktop publishing stuff (using some microsoft program I have never heard of before) and I would guess editing internal memos and such.
It seems like it will be pretty cool. The one thing that kind of bothers me is that I will be working at PC. yeah um yeah, so the office is a little more formal than I would like and I am a little afraid that my sense of humor might get me in a little trouble.
But whatever the money seems good and it might be a nice bike ride (I hope).

btw saucypunk maybe a seat-post clip on fender might be a good birthday present so I don't get rooster tails on my ass going to work, just a thought.

Now I am mall-ing to get some clothes to I can pass.
